Windows XP support is coming to an end in less than 30 days, but with so many users still running it right now, software giant Microsoft is still struggling to move everyone to a newer platform, such as Windows 8.1.

Redmond has turned to several comparisons until now to make sure people are aware that Windows XP is approaching its end of life, but the migration to a newer operating system hasn’t gone too well for the company.

This time, a tweet posted by an official Microsoft account compared Windows XP with music cassettes, which are “so old school,” just like the operating system whose support is ending in April.

A small Windows 8 logo at the bottom of the picture is a clear indication that Microsoft wants users to move to its modern operating system, even though we all know that such a scenario is a bit more complicated given the involved hardware upgrades that are absolutely necessary for old computers still running Windows XP.

Windows XP has a market share of 29 percent right now and, even though Microsoft plans to cut it down to 13 percent by April 8, it’s pretty clear that will never happen and many users will actually stick to their existing platform.
