Microsoft has announced a new range of Surface tablet accessories in mid-October, including a Docking Stations that was supposed to launch in early 2014.

It turns out that Redmond had a change of heart, as the device is listed on its online store and available for purchase for $199.99 (€150).

The Surface Docking Station is now out of stock, as many customers have actually rushed to purchase it, but the company will most likely make it available again in the coming weeks.

“The Docking Station for Surface Pro gives you everything you need to get work done--a display port, an audio input/output jack, an Ethernet port, as well as a high-speed USB 3.0 and three USB 2.0 ports,” Microsoft explained. “The Docking Station for Surface Pro powers the Surface while you work, and quickly recharges the battery so you can hit the road or the halls in no time with a fully-charged device.”
