Microsoft’s very own Surface tablet has often been dubbed a rather disappointing product when it comes to sales, but it appears that there are some devices on the market that are attracting even fewer buyers.

New data revealed by Benedict Evans and spotted by Forbes reveals that Google sold only 680,000 Nexus 10 tablets since launch, while Microsoft delivered approximately 1.5 million Surface units.

While Microsoft’s figures also include the recently launched Surface Pro, the Windows 8 Pro tablet only accounts for around 400,000 of these sold units, so the company shipped an estimated 1.1 million Surface RT devices since October 2012.

The tech giant, on the other hand, remains completely tight-lipped on Surface RT and Surface Pro sales, so we should all take this with a grain of salt until the company reveals some official data.
