Munich will host Microsoft’s second largest office in Europe

Microsoft is trying to expand its business across Europe, so the company will construct a new office building in Germany, which is going to become the second largest facility operated by the Redmond-based tech giant on the Old Continent.

Novinite is reporting that Microsoft worked together with Colliers International Munchen for the past 18 months for advices regarding the location of the new building, as the company wanted to expand its business in Germany.

This will be the second largest Microsoft office building after the one in Paris and will provide the 1,800 employees with top-notch facilities, such as a canteen and a fitness room.

Construction of the new site will begin in early 2014 and is set to be completed during the summer of 2016. The building will cover 26,000 sqm and will be located in Parkstadt Schwabing.
