14 DAY TRIAL // A few months ago, Microsoft and Toyota Racing Development joined forces to create a special Windows 8 application supposed to help NASCAR teams improve their on-track performance.
The two companies are now trying to continue their collaboration with a special Windows 8 and Surface branded car that will be on display at TechEd June 3 to 6.
“[You can] learn how Toyota Racing Development built a mobile solution for its NASCAR racing teams’ using Surface Pro and a custom LOB application on Windows 8 to improve communications, drive more efficiency in the garage resulting in more time on the track,” Microsoft’s Stephen L. Rose said in a blog post.
In addition, Microsoft is also planning to demonstrate the TRD Trackside application to attendees, while also giving them the chance to buy Surface tablets at incredibly low prices.
