The Windows 8 port of Microsoft’s popular Minesweeper has recently received a new round of improvements, most of which are supposed to fix some of the bugs reported by users in the previous versions.

The game, which can be played on x86, x64 and ARM builds of Windows 8, is no longer affected by the performance improvements we’ve seen in older releases, so it should now load a bit faster on every device running Microsoft’s new operating system.

In addition, this new version packs a fix for an issue affecting the Daily Challenges Leaderboards, as well as other unnamed general bug fixes and optimizations for Windows RT units.

Last but not least, Microsoft has spent more time fixing some incorrect translations, as the game is available in quite a wide array of languages, including Serbian, Latvian and Galician.
