The latest build for Miranda IM is 0.9.42. It is not a major release, but it touches on the overall stability and functionality of the application.

Most of the changes available for this version refer to MSN-related problems. Login issues should now be eliminated and the media sharing pop-up has been removed. There are two other modifications related to MSN, designed to improve connection handling and the display of the nickname in chat rooms.

Additional steps for bettering the application have been done and the result is improved UPnP port mapping behavior. Shift+Enter behavior has also been repaired, thus allowing you to start a new line in the messaging window.

Miranda is a multi-protocol instant messaging solution that includes support for AIM, Facebook, Gadu-Gadu, Jabber, ICQ, IRC, MSN, Yahoo and more.
