If you’re one of the many users running the beta version of Firefox, you should be pleased to find out that Mozilla has just released a new build specifically designed to fix some flaws and crashes.

Firefox 26 beta 5 is only focused on fixing what was wrong in beta 4, so expect the application to perform a bit faster and experience less crashes.

The new beta version is aimed at all platforms, including Windows, Linux, and Mac, and represents another step Mozilla makes towards the launch of the next stable release. Firefox 26 is scheduled to go live later this year or in early January.

As a conclusion, keep in mind that this is still a beta, so unless you have the time to determine the cause of some bugs, make sure you download the stable builds.
