Mozilla has just released a new beta version of Firefox for users of all platforms, which means that you can now give it a try and see what’s to come in the next stable build of the browser.

As usual, there are no details on the changes Mozilla made to Firefox 28 beta 8, but it’s safe to assume that it’s mostly focused on fixing bugs and addressing performance issues, which means that most of the bugs you’ve seen before should no longer exist in this fresh build.

As usual, keep in mind that although it comes to address the majority of issues you’ve experienced in beta 7, the new release continues to be in the beta development stage, so a number of glitches could still be experienced when loading specific websites.

Mozilla Firefox 28 is expected to debut in just a few week and is scheduled to bring a full build aimed at Windows 8 devices that would be able to run in the Modern UI and thus provide adopters of Microsoft’s new OS with another app to browse the web.

A testing version of Firefox Touch for Windows 8 is already up for grabs, but it’s still in development stage, so it might be really slow at random times.
