Mozilla continues work on Firefox Australis, so today the company rolled out a new beta version of the browser that allows users to try out the feature lineup of the next release before it hits the market later this month.

Firefox 29 beta 6 is available on all platforms and focuses pretty much on bug fixes, which means that in case you’ve been experiencing issues with the previous releases, you should update as soon as possible.

According to the official release notes, beta 6 comes with improvements for the core engine, but also for the Australis interface that’s now supposed to work a bit faster. Most of the improvements are made under the hood, so in case you can’t see anything new after deploying this update, it’s because the developing team focused on making the browser faster and more stable.

Mozilla Firefox with the new Australis UI is projected to be launched in late April, so we’re getting closer to the public launch of the new browser.

This new beta should only be installed by developers or more advanced users who know how to diagnose bugs or at least report them to the developing company.
