Mozilla has just released a new beta version of its Thunderbird email client, thus providing users running the pre-release build of the application with bug fixes and performance improvements.

Mozilla Thunderbird 24 Beta 3 is now available for download for all platforms out there, including Windows, Linux, and Mac, so users who previously installed another beta should get the new one as soon as possible.

Mozilla hasn’t yet released the changelog for this particular build, but as it usually happens with pre-release versions, it most likely addresses glitches and other issues that affected the overall performance of the app.

As far as Windows is concerned, Thunderbird 24 beta 3 should work flawlessly on basically all editions on the market, including the newly-developed 8.1. Both 32- and 64-bit versions are supported.
