Nero 2014 was officially released only a few minutes ago, bringing quite a lot of improvements and several brand new features on Windows workstations.

First of all, the new Nero version comes with what’s being called Nero Play to TV streaming, which allows you to stream your playlists and slideshows to TVs, Blu-ray players, and other devices.

In addition, the app comprises 1-click Nero Disc to Device conversion that makes it possible to transcode and send content stored on audio or video discs to connected devices or virtual drives.

Last but not least, Nero 2014 comes with mobile device support, including iOS, Android, and Windows 8 smartphones and tablets. This means that you can effortlessly convert discs to preconfigured profiles without the need to manually set up each new project.

Nero 2014 comes with support for absolutely all Windows versions out there, including the newly-launched Windows 8 and the upcoming 8.1. Both 32- and 64-bit editions of the OS should work just fine.
