NetLimiter Pro has received a new update for the testing version that brings important fixes addressing some of the BSODs experienced by users on Windows workstations.

Version 4.0.2.0 addresses BSODs caused by active limit rules and errors popping out when completing expired firewall requests, according to the official release notes published by the developing team.

At the same time, it also fixes a glitch causing the NetLimiter service to fail to start listening for incoming client connections on local machine and several other minor bugs that affected the overall performance on Windows.

Of course, the application continues to offer support for all Windows versions still available right now, including the newly-released 8.1.

The same feature package continues to be offered, so in case you’re looking for an app to easily control your Internet connection, make sure you download NetLimiter Pro and give it a try for free for 28 days.
