14 DAY TRIAL // The official Netflix client for Windows 8 platforms has received an update that comes with several new features and improvements.
While the new version can be easily downloaded by launching the Windows Store and check out the updates section, no details have been provided on the release, other than “new features and fixed bugs.”
As you most likely know by now, Netflix is a free application that lets you watch TV episodes and movies straight from the Metro UI of your Windows 8 device.
While the app comes free of charge, you do need to purchase a Netflix subscription that provides unlimited access to TV shows and movies in the United States. The app works not only on desktops and laptops, but also on Windows RT tablets.
