It’s been a little more than two weeks since Sony Vegas Pro moved to version 11. And judging by the amount of fixes in the new package, it’s been a busy fortnight for the developer.

Sony Vegas Pro 11 build 424 brings a slew of repairs to the table, which contribute to better stability and increased functionality of the video editing suite.

Among the new things added to this build there is support for NVIDIA GPUs with Compute Capability, prior to 2.0 when using driver 285.62 or newer, for hardware-acceleration. On the same note, the developer improved the performance for GPU-accelerated Page Loop, Page Peel and Page Roll transitions and Noise Texture generator.

As far as fixes are concerned, they cover a wide range of components, from plug-ins (Cookie Cutter, Mirror, compositor, Sepia, OFX) to GPU-accelerated AVC rendering.
