Minimum requirements have changed, Windows 2000 no longer supported

It’s been a long time since Fraps received an update, but the version number has been recently incremented to 3.5.0. The new release also sees a change in the minimum requirements, asking for CPU with SSE2 required (Pentium 4 and above), and Windows 2000 is no longer supported.

There aren’t too many new features available, but they are definitely marking the progress of the application. One of the most notable modifications is support for 4GB + AVI files on NTFS drives. There is also the possibility to split the movie files at 4GB for legacy support for AVI 1.0.

As far as repairs go, this build fixes loop recording using large amounts of disk space for short clips as well as the failure to store benchmark logs if the user exited the game before the benchmark ended.
