Night Stand HD 2, a pretty helpful app that can turn a Windows 8 device into a full-featured alarm utility, has just received an update, so all users who previously installed the app are now recommended to get the new version.

The official release notes point to a long list of fixes, some of which are addressing bugs causing unexpected crashes. The new build also tries to repair a problem where the AM/PM would display incorrectly under certain regional settings, as well as glitches in snapped view when displaying alarm details.

In addition, the app now packs option to stop previewing an alarm’s audio, while also packing a confirmation dialog when deleting an alarm that’s part of a repeating sequence.

Night Stand HD 2 is still offered with a freeware license and can be installed on x86, x64 and ARM builds of Windows 8.
