It did not take long for the developer of NoScript to come up with a new release, as version 2.3 of the extension is now available for download. The current version moved through two release candidates, adding one new feature and further refining the program.

New stuff available in this release is a new blob: “about:memory” and “about:support” to the automatic whitelist.

As far as fixes are concerned, the latest version for NoScript takes care of issues with “about:newtab”, which was not considered as a local origin by ABE (Application Boundaries Enforcer) module. Additionally, the current build took care of CSS issues on Gecko 1.8.
