NoScript received a fresh update, incrementing the version number to 2.4.6. The current revision spent a brief time as a release candidate and carries only bug fixes related to cross-site scripting (XSS).

NoScript 2.4.6 updates execution sink checks and eliminates the newline parsing bug. On the same note, the dotted query parameter should no longer affect OpenID, Hotmail and other services because it does not name false positives anymore.

Another repair available in this update refers to messages being dumped to the console even if logging is disabled. All of these problems have been eliminated based on reports from users.

NoScript extension for Mozilla-based browsers allows JavaScript, Java, Flash and other plugins to be executed only by trusted websites of your choice.
