A new version for NoScript extension for Firefox has been released, bringing to the table a small batch of repairs and fixes.

Version 2.4.8 introduces a workaround for Mozilla bug 771655 (broken debugger). On the same note, the default UI shortcut has been changed to Ctrl+Shift+N on account that the Ctrl+Shift+S combination is now used by the debugger.

Another modification is that the extension removes assumptions of a body element from some code paths which may handle generic XML documents. Additional fixing addresses the problem with the feed and pcast because URLs were not unwrapped during some checks.

NoScript extension for Mozilla-based browsers allows JavaScript, Java, Flash and other plugins to be executed only by trusted websites of your choice.
