14 DAY TRIAL // Version 6 for Notepad ++ has just been released. The new release packs a rather small set of new features and improvements. However, it also integrates a list of plugins designed to expand its functionality.
The latest revision adds support for PCRE (Perl Compatible Regular Expressions) and improves the loading performance for large files. There is a new option available in the View menu of the application: Document Map. As the name suggests, it shows what part you are editing in the document.
The batch of plugins available in Notepad++ 6.0, but only for Unicode version, includes Spell Checker v1.3.3, NppFTP 0.24.1, NppExport v0.2.8, Plugin Manager 1.0.8 and Converter 3.0.
