Notepad++ reached a new version number recently, one that contains significant bug fixes, three of them being of critical importance.

In build 6.15 of the application, the developer repairs an HTML tag match that caused the Notepad++ to freeze up. The sidebar splitter would fail on Windows 8 operating system, but in the current release, the problem is solved. The third important fixes a regression bug that affected the performance of the program.

Additional mending refers to the context menu tab in other localization versions, fixing the lower/UPPER case on selected text which contains NULL characters or broken XML syntax because of PHP preprocessor instruction inside.

A graphical user interface bug showing an empty tab row when closing the last tab in multi-line tab mode, has also been removed.
