Microsoft implemented several new features and app improvements in Windows 8.1, trying not only to make the operating system a bit more appealing, but also to provide users with some new capabilities for the tasks they perform on a regular basis.

As a result, Windows 8.1 can very well help users get creative, with this picture launched by Redmond this morning showcasing four of the improvements developed in this regard.

The Camera app, Movie Moments, Photos, and Fresh Paint are all here to boost the creativity side of Windows 8.1, as Microsoft keeps focusing on touch capabilities of the new operating system.

The revamped Camera app, for example, helps you “preserve your most cherished memories, whether photo or video. Edit each photo to show the perfect shot, then share with the special people in your life,” as the photo states.
