The leaked Windows 8.1 Update 1 ISO that reached the web yesterday sure comes with a lot of improvements, but it also lacks one important change that was rumored to be part of this release.

SkyDrive, Microsoft’s cloud-based storage service that was soon renamed to OneDrive, isn’t yet included in Windows 8.1 Update 1, and the original name is still being used.

The change, however, is expected to take place in a future build as Microsoft continues work on Windows 8.1 Update 1 and according to recent information, the update will launch in March with OneDrive as one of the key features.

Microsoft has recently decided to rename SkyDrive to OneDrive in order to settle a trademark dispute in the United Kingdom, but it turns out that the new name could also cause some legal issues to the Redmond-based tech giant.
