Microsoft has just announced a new set of features for OneDrive for Businesses that would allow customers to manage their files more easily and faster with the web client.

First and foremost, businesses users will get a new right-click menu that will allow them to perform quick actions such as edit, download, share and copy faster than before.

“All other actions such as version history are still available under an Advanced option. We are also adding Move or Copy to the list of commands, making the process of moving files around your OneDrive simpler,” Redmond explains.

At the same time, the new web client will also feature an updated search feature that will provide greater speed when looking for files. For instance, all you need to do is start typing and OneDrive will show files as you type in the main screen.

Sharing folders will also be easier thanks to the new update because, once you create a new folder, there are also new options to invite people to access the content stored in this folder.

Microsoft says that all these changes will be implemented in the next couple of weeks, so don’t look for them right now because they’re not there. Luckily, all business users should get the update before the end of the month.
