The stable version for Opera 12 was released about a week ago, but with the launch of today’s snapshot the Norwegian developer shows that they already have build 12.01 in the making.

The purpose of the current development build is to improve the stability of the web browser by fixing up issues that were not ready for Opera 12.

Two crash bugs have been eliminated on Windows, caused by scrolling with the mouse wheel over multiple select and exiting print preview after printing multi-page document containing elements with overflow auto.

Mac user should no longer experience crashes when clicking "Log In" in "Opera Link Status" dialog and zoom-in/out values for cursor should work. Also fixed is the misaligned text on input form elements.

The repairs for the Linux/FreeBSD version refer to Opera button and window controls disappearing when opening KDE dialog.
