Inertial scroll supported, crash bugs and memory leak eliminated

Opera released a new snapshot for the upcoming version 12.50 of the browser that comes with support for Windows 8 touch devices. Development of the feature is not definitive yet, but it should also work with Windows 7-powered touch devices.

At the moment support is limited to a small number of actions, such as pinch to zoom, inertial scrolling of the UI and of the web page as well as touch-based drag and drop of user interface elements.

Touch feature aside, the new Marlin snapshot brings to the table a small batch of repairs that address issues with the Star menu not closing properly, lack of context menu for bookmark entries.

Stability has also been improved as various crash bugs should no longer affect the browser (dragging a tab into a stack that contains another stack, confirming to delete an RSS feed that has already been deleted). On the same note, the developer fixed a memory leak related to thumbnail display.
