New snapshot for beta fixes a handful of problems

As much as I am hoping to see the stable release for Opera 12 this week, it’s definitely not going to be launched today. Instead, the development team rolled out a new snapshot for the beta version of the application.

The fresh build addresses some issues that affected Skydrive upload, JavaScript errors as well as a problems with on-demand-plugin placeholder lowering the security status of secure sites to insecure.

The current snapshot also mends the problem with overlapping special characters and missing whitespace for documents using sans-serif font when printed from print preview.

However, despite all these repairs, some known issues remain, two in this case. Both of them affect only a small portion of users, namely those without an SSE2 CPU on their system (which is really old) and those running Windows 2000 (plugins won’t work).
