Opera 16 has received a brand new update today, so users who are still running it right now should get the new version as soon as possible.

As you know, Opera comes with a built-in update, so a simple app restart should be enough to deploy the build released this morning.

Opera Web Browser 16.0.1196.73 is supposed to provide a more stable experience on both Windows and Mac OS X, as a Linux build is not yet available for download.

While no specifics have been provided on this particular build, expect it to be aimed at bugs and issues found in the previous releases, which means that both Windows and Mac OS X users should no longer experience some of the problems they’ve seen before.

Update: it turns out that the new build fixes several important bugs, as the developing team discovered that quick typing strings at address field didn't start search, while the browser wasn't focused when opening a link from an external program. More details here.
