New snapshot delivers several repairs, eliminates crash bugs

Opera released today a new snapshot for version 12.01 of the browser and announced that they’re closing in on the stable version. This will be an intermediary build until Marlin (Opera 12.50) is ready for the public.

The list of modifications for this revision is not large and integrates fixes for several quirks. Among them, the impossibility to click Yahoo Chat contacts to open chat window, failure to delete from history pages with "Cache-Control: no-cache, no-store" and incorrect loading of compressed resource with Dragonfly open causing Opera to crash.

In some cases, clicking the bookmark star at the end of the address bar would also make the web browser crash.

On Mac systems, the Alipay plugin arrow keys would appear as characters rather than fulfilling the function of moving as text cursor.
