The latest pre-alpha release of Opera (build 1090) sees it slightly changed in terms of looks. The change is part of Project Featherweight roadmap, designed to improve the browser and make it as light and user-friendly as possible.

You may not notice the individual details in the new build, but you’ll definitely be aware that something has changed for the better in the interface. It all looks fresher and more modern than before.

Icons have been refined and aligned, the panel now blends with the active tab (this is visible especially in the case of the first tab) and the colorization on Linux and Windows blends better with the platform colors.

Apart from skin-deep changes, the new version sports improved plugin installation and fixes for the auto-update system.
