Opera’s HTML5 parser is under continuous scrutiny of the development team. The latest snapshot for Opera 11.60 (codenamed “Tunny”), build 1177, features fixes for Ragnarök, which include mending of NSL (never stops loading) issues.

Besides attending to Ragnarök, the build also sports Core updates designed to bring it closer to a stable release. Some of the issues referred to system resources being gulped up (100% CPU and using of all available memory) at cisco.com subpage.

Another bug causing CPU usage to rise to 100% manifested when Windows Aero feature would be turned off and Opera’s tab bar would be set to right or left side of the screen.

We encountered some problems ourselves, trying to load Twitter pages; accessing a profile by simply pasting the link would take a while in our case. Typing the profile link in the address bar would give us the Twitter default background and no content.
