If you're using the beta version of the Opera browser, make sure that you're running the latest build because the parent company has just rolled out an updated package that comes with several bug fixes and performance improvements.

As mentioned in the official release notes, Opera Web Browser 22.0.1471.16 includes fixes for bugs affecting the bookmark bar folders, form autofilling options, encoding detection and some other crashes occurring every once in a while. At the same time, it also fixes a Windows issue that caused the downloads screen to display some black gradients over long filenames.

As usual, the parent company rolled out the new build on both Windows and Mac OS X, so everyone can download and give it a try right now.

Do not forget, however, that this is still part of the beta development channel, which means that a number of bugs and issues could still exist and thus affect the overall experience with the app.

Overall, this new beta version is quite a neat way to have a look at the upcoming stable build of Opera, so use the download links below to get the package that works on your system.
