14 DAY TRIAL // The latest release for Outpost Pro has just been unveiled, featuring important enhancements, such as the redesigned anti-spam filters that are capable to separate mail intelligently.
The SmartDecision technology has been improved in Outpost Pro 7.5.2 and eases up the decision process for the user by applying color-coded alerts. The anti-malware engine driving the detection abilities of the suite has also been through modifications, the result being a new version with improved detection of malware in packed executable files.
This release also introduces support for JAR files and Android application packed file formats for on-access detection.
Overall, the new Outpost Pro should feel nimbler and offer better performance. The current release is the result of about seven months of development. It should strengthen the pro-active security against all sorts of malware.
