Process Lasso remains a very effective optimization tool, so every single update that’s being released is supposed to make the app even better on all Windows versions.

Version 6.6.0.90 was officially released a few hours ago, fixing several bugs in the application, while also changing some of the built-in options.

For example, the new build switches to the standard CPU affinity selection dialog and expands support to 64 cores in this external utility, while the Energy Saver dialog comes with multiple improvements.

In addition, Process Lasso has received a new stand-alone log viewer that “allows for fully resizable view of full or filtered process activity log in real-time,” as it’s being explained in the official release notes.

Of course, some performance enhancements should be noticed after deploying the update, so make sure you get it as soon as possible, regardless of the Windows version you are running.
