As announced in March, today Propellerhead released Reason 7 package for music production, which features improvements especially for the mixer, the rack and the sequencer.

With the new External MIDI instrument, Reason 7 can integrate hardware, up to the point of managing MIDI instruments through control voltage signals from other Reason devices.

The mixing console received plenty of attention in this release. It sports channel grouping for easy mixing with subgroups.

With the freshly added spectrum analyzer you have with visual EQ control, you can adjust the EQ curve to change the frequency spectrum in real-time.

Factory Sound Bank has been expanded with new loops and drum kits.

The Audiomatic Retro Transformer Rack Extension (RE) is available for free in Reason 7, while users of an older version can get it for $49/ €39.
