The website is displaying the same old and outdated statistics

Microsoft by the Numbers is a service that was officially launched by the Redmond-based software giant in August 2013 and supposed to provide us with stats regarding many of its services.

Fast forward five months later and the same stats are being displayed on the page, which means that Microsoft by the Numbers has quickly become just an outdated page that shows almost nothing useful to visitors.

For example, you can find out that Internet Explorer’s usage share was over 56 percent worldwide in July 2013, while the Windows Phone Store has recorded more than 2 billion downloads. Sadly, the same figures have been posted on the website at launch, so nothing new here.

Microsoft by the Numbers has the potential to be a much more helpful service, not only for journalists, but also for Microsoft fanatics that want to stay up to date with what’s happening within the company.
