Resize Photos Using the Windows 8 Share Charm

There are plenty of photo resizing utilities available in the Windows Store right now, but here’s a freeware application that makes the whole process a real breeze.

The so-called ShareTo:Resize is an application that lets you quickly resize a photo with the Windows 8 Share Charm. Simply open the photo you’d like to resize, select the Share Charm, tap on ShareTo:Resize and quickly change the dimensions of the picture using the displayed panel.

Once the process is completed, the app allows users to save the new photo to a local folder or share it using another program installed on your Windows 8 computer.

The app works like a charm on all devices running Microsoft’s new operating system, including x86, x64 and ARM builds.
