Windows XP will be discontinued in less than three months, but not everybody is prepared for the end of support which would basically mean that computers running this OS version wouldn’t receive new updates and security patches.

A report by Business Korea reveals that 18 percent of the computers in South Korea are still running Windows XP, which is more than in the United States – 12.12 percent and Japan – 11.24 percent.

What’s worse is that several public institutions are still using Windows XP right now, which means that all their computers could become vulnerable to hackers.

Microsoft shows no mercy for Windows XP and is really keen on retiring the operating system in April, which means that all those still using this particular platform should consider their options as fast as possible.
