SpeedFan has been updated to a new version, 4.46, which has at the top of list of changes greatly improved Dell support. Equally important is that NVIDIA I2C support works again with driver 275+.

On the same note, ATI Radeon support now allows you to reset Manual Fan Control to the initial values when SpeedFan started. This means that you will no longer go through unexpected video card fan set to 100% on program exit.

Support for new devices is available. As such, the new build can handle Intel X79 (Patsburg) SMBus and ServerWorks HT1000 SMBus. USB enclosures using SunPlus, IoData and Logitech chipsets are also on the list of supported items.

Improvements in this release refer to adding voltage reading tweaks and configurations for several Intel motherboards, rewritten Areca RAID support and improved support for Areca SAS controllers and slightly refactored hard disk USB vendor guessing.
