A Metro version of the popular Tapatalk forum reading app has reached the store, so users of Microsoft’s latest operating system can download it right away.

Unfortunately, the app does not provide support for the desktop versions of Windows 8.1, which means that it can only be installed on Windows RT 8.1 devices, such as Microsoft’s own Surface RT.

The app has been optimized for Windows devices with ARM processors and can work in both portrait and landscape modes. It comes with support for more than 50,000 forums worldwide and provide unlimited image hosting for photos you take on your tablet.

“Tapatalk aggregates content from a network of communities that cover a wide variety of interests, from automotive to parenting, gardening to hiking - You will find a forum that matches your interests full of fellow enthusiasts that share your passion,” the app description reads.

All in all, there’s no doubt that this is a helpful addition to the store, so you can download Tapatalk for Windows RT 8.1 for free to see what it brings on your ARM device.
