As I told you yesterday, an early version of Windows 8.1 Update 1 got leaked, which means that users who can’t wait for the official launch of the first Windows 8.1 update can download it right away from unofficial channels.

The build that reached the web yesterday was compiled on January 14, which means that some of the features that will be included in the final versions are very likely to receive several refinements.

For example, one of the features that are still part of Windows 8.1 Update 1 is SkyDrive, the cloud-based storage service that’s expected to be renamed to OneDrive in the coming months.

According to information we have right now, SkyDrive is also likely to be renamed to OneDrive in Windows 8.1 Update 1, so the official build of the release is very likely to feature many more improvements than we can see right now in the leaked build.
