If the built-in Windows 8 Weather app isn't exactly your cup of tea, you definitely need to have a look at Raindrop, a new tool which not only looks great, but also works amazingly well on Microsoft's new OS.

Raindrop promises to offer dynamic content, accurate weather forecasts, alerts, and details for the next 12 hours.

An update released today comes to improve the overall experience with the app by adding a refresh button in the status bar to quickly update the forecast, while also bringing a contact us link in the settings pane.

Raindrop also comes with live tile support, but the wide size is the only one working right now in order to accommodate large text and concise information.

“The first Live Tile Update, after you install the app, will take at least 60 minutes to show. This is a limitation by the Windows 8 Store App APIs, hence the weather would update automatically every 60 minutes in the background.,” the developing team explained.
