Microsoft has been whining around that PC makers failed to bring enough Windows 8 touchscreen devices to the market, blaming everyone in the industry for the slow early uptake of its new operating system.

Things have changed a little bit in the meantime, and users can choose from quite a lot of Windows 8 devices, including some that could eat up all the space in your living room.

This Windows 8 touchscreen computer launched by InFocus comes with a 55-inch 1080p display and packs a Core i5 CPU, an 120 GB SSD, six USB ports, Wi-Fi and two HDMI ports.

In case you’re wondering, it’s called BigTouch and runs the full version of Windows 8 Pro, “combining the fun of a touchscreen tablet with the productivity of a PC,” as the manufacturer says.

While we can hardly picture someone using this big guy as a tablet, it’s worth mentioning that this new device can be yours for only $4,999 (€3,885).
