Microsoft does bring the Start menu back in Windows 10, but it’s not the version that users expected to get. Live tiles, new options, and options to quickly turn into a Start screen make the new Start menu a no-no for many users out there.

So do you like Windows 10 but you’re not a fan of the new Start menu? Fortunately, there are ways to bring back the Windows 7 Start menu in Windows 10 and make the desktop look a little bit more familiar.

The screenshots you see here show IObit’s Start Menu 8 app in action in Windows 10 build 10061 and are living proof that, with a little effort, you can make the new operating system look like Windows 7.

As you can see for yourselves, the new appearance of the Start menu almost perfectly resembles the design of the one in Windows 7, so you’ll definitely feel like home after installing such a third-party app.

Of course, there are plenty of other customization options that could help you get even more from such a piece of software, but it’s all up to you and your needs to set it up.

Needless to say, finding the right Start menu app for your PC could take a while, but there are a lot of freeware programs that can do that for you, so whenever you’re bored on a lazy Sunday morning, here’s something that could turn out to be helpful on the long term.
