Word is that Microsoft could bring back the Start Menu in a future Windows release, but it turns out that designers around the world do not wish to wait any longer and create their own interpretations of the feature.

As you can see in this video, Makus McNugen has created quite an appealing Start Menu that would be integrated into Windows 9, thus providing users with a quick way to access their favorite apps.

The Start Menu would boast instant access to power options, charms, installed apps, and settings, making it the perfect companion for Windows 9 users who want to work on the desktop but don't want to completely ignore the Modern UI.

McNugen told us that this concept is still a work in progress, so some new features are very likely to be implemented before it's finalized.

Of course, watch the video above and tell us what you think about this new concept in the comment box after the jump.
