14 DAY TRIAL // A second release candidate is currently available for Total Commander 8.0.1. The new build contains mostly repairs, but a new addition has also managed to make its way through: show inplace rename confirmation button also in current dir bar.
The set of fixes integrated in this revision address problems with synchronization with FTP, slow CRC check function, backwards quick search in Compare by Contents function or the multi-rename tool (controls would not be sized correctly on initial start).
Crash problems have also been addressed, such as the one with the standalone directory synchronization with FTP. Although not affecting too many users, another crash on Windows 9x has been eliminated.
Also important in this release is the use of unrar.dll 3.80 as unrar9x.dll because the newer one only worked on Windows98/ME.
