A new beta for Total Commander rolled out, with more fixes and very few new things. The novelties in this release include two experimental features; one is for comparing files larger than 2GB by content, the other refers to quick search with Korean characters.

Another new thing in Total Commander beta 9 involves Lister component: auto rotating JPG images loaded through GDI+ (Graphics Device Interface) to the angle stored in the EXIF information. This feature is available for both 32 and 64-bit versions of the file manager.

The list of fixes range from trouble with the master password input, F5 file copy dialog or quick-search to displaying in binary instead of UTF-8 data when hitting F3 (list files) on a directory.

The modifications correct issues for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the application. You can view the full changelog on this page.
