Plenty of fixes for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions

It’s been seven months of work and beta releases delivered almost on a weekly basis. Today, the first release candidate for Total Commander 8.0 was rolled out.

As expected, it features mostly fixes, but new things are also available, such as drawing focus differently when there are selected files in the panel.

Repairs touch on unpacking files from multi-volume ZIP, in which case changing the disk is no longer requested if the file is in the last part, which contains the zip central directory. Another fix regards attribute changing for items, where the date field would not be focused when checking option "Change date/time" with the keyboard shortcut.

The list of repairs is quite large and refers to other functions and components, such as Lister, multi-rename tool or directory synchronization. It can be consulted on this page.
