The Feedback app reveals new requests for Windows 10

There are lots of things that could change in Windows 10 based on user feedback, and just by looking in the Feedback app that’s integrated in the Technical Preview builds, it’s easy to understand that pretty much everyone expects the desktop to be improved even more in the final OS.

Among the tweaks that users expect to see in Windows 10, there are also changes that would add more space between the icons placed in the System Tray in order to make it better for touchscreen use.

Of course, that does contradict Microsoft’s new approach for the desktop in Windows 10, as the company wants to make it easier to use with a mouse and keyboard, but there’s no doubt that giving users more choices to configure the UI would be a really good idea.

At the same time, some are asking the company to provide more configuration options for the notification tray icon, such as different colors and possibly other icons.

“It is hard to tell the different with the small blue explanation mark on the icon,” some said and we can really confirm that this is true and that every once in a while it’s really impossible to tell if there’s a new notification waiting for you or not.

Of course, the more votes, the bigger the chances to get such features, so launch the Feedback app in Windows 10 and vote for these options if you’d like to see them in the stable build.
